Why?
Why do good, decent, people trying to live a Godly life say stupid, hurtful things? How do they praise God one day and make fun of people the next? Why do I get sucked into doing it with them? Why do I need to have people hear me make "clever" comments when in fact they are intolerant, judgemental, not-nice things? When did enlightenment become equated with the abilty/need to scorn the thoughts, ideas, interests and practices of others?
