Without getting too emotional, let me say that I found the hardest part of the memorial experience was the realization that the majority of those who rest in this place were the exact same age as the male students walking around. I think they sensed it, too.
See that hillside with the horizontal rows in the far distance...that's where we climbed and picked 140 tubs [no, no I was wrong and I am editing this comment...it is only 70 tubs) of grapes and they will make twenty bottles from each tub.

Bottles of what?
dct--grape juice in storage!
antiqued grape juice!
And I don't suppose that Harding regulations will allow you to sample any of it?
By the way, I am so glad that they have changed the policy on campus!
Changed what policy? Can't you do whatever you want at HUF? I mean, if I had only known we could get married over there...how much fun would that have been! He he he All these rules that we never even had known that were in exsistance!
The last Bison that came to my house said that they were changing the policy about alcohol use on campus. It said if a student with an alcohol problem voluntary comes in and says that they have a problem and want help with it that they will NOT suspend or expel them but give them help. I am glad they made that policy change instead of kicking them out immediately like they used to. Most other Christian university already had that policy in place.
Tammie, you and all the other big donors you know need to write the top administrators and tell them that you like the policy change. Too many times they only get the negative feedback that people don't like the change. I will mean something coming from you and Tim.
Can't wait to Nov...did Vivian shave her head??
I did send a positive note to Dr. Burks and Jim Carr. Jim Carr replied positively, Dr. Burks has not replied at all. Vivian's hair will be gone by 2:30 this afternoon!
Can't wait til November!
