Another ASHA Convention
Julie Andrews was fabulous. She accepted an award from John and Annie Glenn (yes, they were there too!) then she talked for about 15 minutes. She was so eloquent and elegant.Wicked! was wonderful. I want to fly up into the air like she does at the end of Act 1. I really, really liked it.
Chicago was cold and busy and fun. Our students are fun and fabulous. It was all good!

So glad it was fun and the conference was good! Now we need to go to New York and take in a show or two or maybe back to Chicago. Tim wants to see Jersey Boys.
Sounds like super fun...elegant and eloquent is just how I would expect Julie Andrews to be! Hope the newlyweds had a good "trip" and are getting settled.

She talked lots about the need for reading and exposing children to good books. She writes books and has done a couple with her daughter.
She also talked about some research going on in Boston that might be helpful for her voice. She is one of their clients and she is hopeful that they can help her to sing again. One of the BEST speakers ever at the ceremonies.
